The Complete Sanctuary

Temenos is the only Aeōn design that extends beyond the sauna itself. A dark architectural shell - built to endure, built to belong - opens into a full thermal chamber on one side and a private changing area on the other.

Towels, robes, a moment to breathe before you enter and after you leave. Everything the ritual requires, contained in one considered structure. This is not an addition to your home. It is a destination within it.

The Installation

Temenos spans 3.5 m in length, 2.5 m in width, and 2.4 m in height - the most architecturally complete structure in the Aeōn outdoor collection. An 80 mm insulated core within a 150 mm wall. A unique vapour and wind barrier system that holds the climate of the interior entirely separate from the world outside.

A moveable rigid base that allows placement to be reconsidered without compromise. Temenos is designed to sit beside a pool, at the edge of a garden, or as the anchor of a private wellness terrace.

Sauna Experience

Choose the ritual that suits you.

Finnish Sauna

Dry heat, low humidity, temperatures reaching up to 90 C. The classic Nordic experience. Intense, clarifying, and deeply restorative.

Steam Sauna

Warm humid heat in the tradition of the Russian Banya, with higher moisture levels that soften the heat and open the body more gently. In a space with its own anteroom, the steam sauna finds its fullest expression - enter warm, step out, cool down, return.

The Stove

Temenos demands more than a standard output. Its chamber is larger, its stone capacity greater, its heat more enveloping.

Electric Heater

16 kW output. Reaches 70 C in seventy minutes. Stone capacity 80 kg. Precise, consistent, and powerful enough to hold the temperature of a full chamber without effort.

Wood Burning Stove

18 kW output. Reaches 70 C in seventy minutes. Stone capacity 110 kg. The largest stone load in the Aeōn collection. In a space this considered, the presence of a wood fire feels less like an option and more like the only honest choice.

Interior Timber

The wood you choose sets the tone for every session held inside it. Each species is knot-free, kiln-dried, and selected for its behaviour under sustained, high-output heat.

Nordic Spruce

Pale, fine-grained, and clean. The purest Scandinavian expression.

Aspen

Almost white, odourless, and exceptionally smooth. The quietest of the four.

Hemlock

Warm honey tones with a subtle, earthy presence. The most architectural choice.

Western Red Cedar

Rich, aromatic, and unmistakable. The wood that has defined sauna craft for generations.

The Door & Window

Wooden Door

Solid, warm, and considered. Frames the threshold between the changing area and the thermal chamber with the same timber as the interior.

Full Glass Door

Frameless and luminous. Keeps the interior visible from the outside, connecting the ritual to the landscape it sits within.

Large Tempered Window (Standard)

The large window is fitted with thick tempered glass as standard - integral to Temenos's architectural presence and its relationship with the space around it.

Interior Lighting

Warm White LED

Steady, golden, and calm. The light of late evening, held still.

Full Colour LED

The full chromotherapy spectrum, adjustable by touch. In a space that moves between changing area and thermal chamber, lighting can mark the transition between the two. Two scenarios, one switch.

Sound System

Integrated speakers, weatherproofed and tuned for a timber interior. A session in Temenos is long enough to deserve a soundtrack.

Exterior

Colour

The outer shell is finished in your chosen colour from our curated palette, developed in consultation with your architect or designer. Temenos is designed to be seen as much as used - the exterior finish is not a detail. It is a statement.

Changing Area

Included as standard. A private space with towel hooks, positioned between the outside world and the thermal chamber. Additional hooks can be specified.

Outdoor Spotlights

Illuminate the structure after dark as standard. Placement and configuration adjusted to the setting.
